car idles low and runs rich

After installing my intake + filter onto my car, I get a really rough idle when I first start the car up after it has been sitting for a while. The car seems like it wants to stall but it goes back to normal after a minute or so. I noticed this problem also with my friends srt-4. Why is this?

After installing my intake + filter my car seems to be running rich. Any ideas why this happens and how I can prevent it?

Are you recirculating your BOV? That could definately be some of your problem there...

no, i have a stock BOV at the moment. It started happening after i installed my new intake

Obviously- but is your BOV venting back into your intake track, or into the atmosphere?

Also, check your Idle Speed Controller

What's the milage, how old are the plugs\wires, etc. etc....

Check to make sure your MAS has a good connection.
