Have a wireing question

Here is the deal we have a 2nd gen GST with a 1st gen block and 2nd gen head. We have recently ran into a problem with the Cam position sensor and was told by a tunner friend of ours that we need a 94 cam possion sensor to keep the car from studdering at cruse speed. The problem we have is we can not find out how to wire it in. since the colors of the wires on the 94 are different than all the other we have seen. So what I need to find out is does any one know how to wire it up to a 2nd gen car?
