Hard top eclipse

Is a hard top without a sunroof hard to find. I've never seen one before. Just wonderd if it had any advantages weight or rigidy. As I've come from a v8 background and t tops and sunroofs just seem to be a disadvantage. As mines has some rust where I'm going to have to replace the trunk with sheet meatale and the front fenders before I do the awd swap and just wonderd if the body was worth saving or just find a awd roller and just swap engine over?

Its like any car with a hole in the roof, they flex like no other. I have a hard top car that some one put a lame roof into... ARG! I need to order a skin, headliner, and the inner brace(does the car have one?).

Honestly, I'd just sell that one and find a hard top AWD without rust. I actually just sold my '95 TSi AWD hard top, they're out there.

ive removed a sunroof from a DSM, and saw it doesnt really do anything for bracing...it just sort of bolts into where there is already bracing. It does have a good amount of extra weight vs a non sunroof DSM.

I havent come across alot of turbo non sunroof cars...but i have one ^_^

I got a hard top gst which I'm saving to do an awd conversion too. Finding a clean awd for a good price is almost impossible.
