First off i live in chicago so its about 0 - 30 degrees outside. The car takes many cranks to start 15 - 20 varying in length of time. Once started, it can be turned off and back on. Leave it for 30 minutes to an hour and it will start in a one 5 second crank. We have heated the garage up to about 55 and it still takes multiple starts. The next day it will take 15- 20 cranks. once its started it seems to run a little sluggish in higher rpms.

additional information:
I bought the car 2 weeks ago. It has a sparktech coil on plug setup and blue top injectors (not sure what cc), 14b turbo, extreme psi intake kit, EGR block off, evo III o2 housing, built auto trans.

Check all the cables make sure they are tight and not corroded. Also make sure you have the proper grounds. Check the alt output while it's running if it's not putting out enough voltage your battery might not be charging. How old is the battery?

the battery was replaced a month ago ( i have receipt ) It cranks fast and powerful if that means anything

this problem for me was always coolant temp sensor. but yes check grounds, sensors, and fuel pressure.

also check coolant level. if it isn't reaching the sensors, this could cause the issue.
keep us updated.
