Hard clucth pedal....

ok so here is my DSM issues... it all started as a lets replace my radio that turned into... a new exhaust,shifter,motor,clutch and the fun stuff... The cars a 99 eclipse spyder 2.4

so my issue now is that... i got it all back together the car runs great etc etc... my issue that will not go away..

The clutch pedal is super stiff... i did the adjustment thing like the video shows and i have bleed the slave like 30 times... its still the same thing... the pedal is super hard and it has like... maybe 1/4 inch travel from being engaged to disengaged...

im lost at what to check or replace next... boot is dry btw...

Are you sure you adjusted it to where you can push the slave in by hand? I thought I did, then I pushed on the clutch a few times and it got rock hard.

yeah... when i first went to bleed the clutch it was super soft.... then after it was bled it was rock hard... then i did what the video said and i can push the slave and its still rock hard.... im just stumped on it....

how long have you had this problem? wouldn't happen to start occuring once you replaced the clutch would it?

some times this is normal. what clutch are you running?

If your running a stiffer clutch on your car it will have lot more pressure than a stock clutch would.

I have same issue with my clutch pedal... I bleeded the master, but it's still hard. The clutch is a brand new stock one...
