So I was cleaning up my engine bay today and filling up all my fluids, and when I pulled off my coolant reservoir lid I noticed that one of the hoses wasn't connected to anything (the one running towards the passenger side tire). I had figured that was hooked up to my side mount intercooler or something. Anyway I have this hanging hose and I need to know what it connects to before I put the car up and reconnect. Here is a picture (not my engine bay just grabbed one from Google images and circled the loose hose).

That is your overflow. When coolant heats up, it expands and fills your overflow reservoir. When your reservoir fills up, instead of popping its top, it drains out the excess fluid through that hose onto the road.
