My MBC is tapped into the wastegate as well as the lower ic piping. But I still have random spiking. Is my mbc working right? Has it been installed incorrectly? I've recently done a blt and fixed leaks. ty

The spike is probably from the internal wastegate. Try porting your wastegate to help with the spike or upgrade the fuel system so you can turn up the boost and you won't have to worry about it.

Spikes how high? Is your boost controller inside the car or just the adjustable part? Boost controller needs to be as close to the wg as possible or it will cause problems. Such as spikes.

you need to relocate your MBC. the line coming all the way into the car is likely your problem. you should have a line to your MBC from your wastegate actuator and your turbo housing to work correctly. the location of your MBC should be as close to int he middle of these 2 connections as possible to promote quick flow of air from one to the other. imo even running the line up and mounting it to your fans or some other easily accessible spot is not ideal. i have always installed them as close to the turbo as possible and found a safe mounting spot down near the WG actuator.

try this link, it has pics and some good info

From what I have read I though all boost spikes come from the fluctuation in the exhaust to O2/westgate flow....

Wouldn't the flow creat a spike as well as creep... Ether that a faulty westgate would cause the flapper to be jerky and open and close at random intervals and cause the spiking....

My MBC is mounted next to my OBD2 port so i can adjust on the fly :hellyeah: and I have never had any boost creep or spike problems on, I was running 16 psi on my e316g. Just make sure It is one solid hose going into the cabin from your boost controller. I have a "T" tapped Into my upper hose on my bcs which attaches to my wastegate nipple and then routes my vacuum line to my MBC inside the cabin and the lower hose on the bcs is going to my j-pipe.

Hope this helps!
