half shaft removal

Ok so im about to pull my motor and i was wondering to remove the whole half shaft, do i need to remove the big hub/spindle nut in the middle of the spindle? Or should i remove the whole steering kunckle itsself?

just remove the big nut holding the hub on

yea just take out the big nut holding it to the hub and it should pull right out with a little finagleing

the wheel bearing wont come out when i take that nut off? and is it 32mm? cause i need to buy that socket

i didnt take my wheel bearing off when i did mine just use a few love taps with a rubber mallet to push it through the bearing

You might find that after you've gotten the axle nut off, it's easier to push the axle back through the hub if you turn the steering wheel pretty dramatically. That way the joint in the axle can bend- it just gives you more clearance.
