I would like to here people's opinions on this turbo who have it/have run it. I know their are mixed feelings on it, as my searches showed. Let me know your thoughts on it. I'm considering getting it for my automatic 96 gsx, which is my daily driver. Thanks.

I don't own one personally but it seems most don't tend to like them because of the larger turbine housing & the lag. I think depending on your goal & also being auto there are probably much better choices out there.

My girlfriend has the hahn 20g on her 2g gst. . Currently its only running at 5 psi due to needing a boost controller. I will install one later and let you know.
I believe it runs really good for only 5 psi. Spool isn't bad at all. Planning to run 15 later this week so ill give back some feedback.

Ill install a gauge and let you know what it hits full boost by.

I hated it and I sold it. Too many manifold and adapter plate leaks. Just a garbage kit. I would stay well away from it. The guy I sold it too tried it,he hated it so much that he turned around and sold it.:notgood: Leave it alone. They work better on motorcycles.

I had a super 16g 7 years ago. I had the same problems with the adapter plates (it's not a mitsu flange on the exhaust housing),a spacer against the head to push the manifold away from the head (two exhaust mani gaskets to leak woohoo), and poor quality hardware. Maybe they have improved some by now, but I have never seen a super 16g or super 20g outperform a standard 16g or 20g. At least not by enough to justify the price. If I recall correctly it's a 10cm exhaust housing on there. Don't get me wrong. The turbo works, there's just way better choices to be made with the many flavors of turbo's out there. A bolt on 50trim would do you fine at about half the price and headaches.

They now include ARP studs instead. Glad I could test their old hardware choice on a $1200 16g...and pay for replacements for the broken hardware. Live and learn. :beatentodeath:

I hope I didn't break any rules there.

Well I don't like it personally either, I moved to the BR 20g which is amazing in my opinion if you hae the money to get it, get it. you won't be disappointed.
