Hey guys so my car is finally boosted, but I feed that I'm having a little too much lag. The car won't start building up boost until after 3500k or so. Is this normal with this turbo?

Check for boost leaks. Make sure all the IC piping is on there god and all the clamps are tight. Also check for exhaust leaks before the turbo. There will be some lag, but not that much.

No I seafoamed the car and it turns out that I have a pre-turbo exhaust leak. I mean it doesn't seem bad could that be the cause?

Fix the leak, pre turbo leaks affect spoolup.
Also check for boost leaks.
Also if its a 10cm turbine housing version, thats a decently larger housing than a typical 7cm housing that most 4g63 guys have on their 16g.

Improvements in the tune of the car can help spoolup a little once you take care of any boost/exhaust leaks, too.

Is that turbine housing a direct bolt-on for all td05 turbos?

It will fit the centersection and turbine wheel.
They sell it as a kit for 4g63s too, but it has a t3 inlet and 5bolt t3 outlet i believe.
They sell adapter plates and O2 housings that will allow you to use your downpipe and manifold though if you find a used 10cm housing
