p.s sorry for the whoring...;)

Edit: man im good quoteing the wrong person and too lazy to fix it..

i was running 10lbs of boost. i turned a corner, got on it and right about 3K rpm i knew something was wrong, no boost. i hopped out, checked all the IC connectors cause a couple popped off last night, but i was sure i had tighened them after that. i wasn't under full boost or anything of the sort.

No, but I/C pipes can go when your not under boost. Thats why the BOV is there to relieve the access pressure. Make sure your BOV is not too stiff. If it's not releasing like it should then that could have sent all that pressure right back into your turbine.

why the roll eyes? are you not going to believe what i say about my own car and whats going on with it? i think i would have ruled out something as simple as a bov..
i rolled my eyes because u just dont get it.. i know its not your BOV valve.. and i said check for it leaking, if it was leaking you would build no boost, this would not blow your turbo.. have u even taking the turbo off and checked out the blades? maybe its as something as ur wastegate line popping off. its hard to believe that a pretty new 16g would just go for no reason.. start looking at it

i think i would have realized if the the wastegate line was off. yes i have looked at the blades and they have been banging all over the place in the housing. im not stupid. i wouldn't go through the trouble of sending back my turbo to hahn if i didn't look in the turbo.. geez...

 never said u were stupid.. i was just checking to see if u did, sometimes people, including myself forget the obvious and its helpful when someone points it out. the point im saying is something bent those fins up or did something, it does just happen under low boost for no reason.. u sure nothing got down in there?

Yeah, no kidding. Hahn turbos may not be the best turbos but they are known to be reliable and it it RARE to see one break because of a defect. They are tested up to 100,000 rpm. Usually if a turbo is going to go bad it will happen within the 1st few miles or so not after months of having it. Also your wastegate flapper could get stuck open and that could cause it. I think we are all just trying to find out if it really is your turbo that is bad and not something simple.
