OK there is this guy who lives by me who has what he claims to be a Hahn racecraft stage 2 sidemount. It comes with all the piping and he will weld my bov flange on it for me. I cannot find a stage 2 anywhere but i saw a link to the Hahn sidemount on here. I found it on the main site for Hahn also but it was a lot cheaper.. I'm only going to be running a e316g with 550 injectors, 190lph pump, and safc2 .It claims that that sidemount is good for 400 hp which i don't intend on making anywhere close to that. Would this be sufficient for me. I think it would but just want to make sure. He also said it fits without any cutting or anything which is hard to believe but i read some reviews and they said it fits perfect but you need to trim the inside of the fender well a little bit because it blocks flow. SO my question's are. Is this good enough for me, Is $300 for it a good price, and doe's it fit good? Thank's a lot

its a decent price, but i would just buy a mkiv supra smic and make my own piping. That should be right around the $200 range.

But then again, im a cheap bastard.

300 is an excellent price for that intercooler setup, however, i dont know about this stage crap. I would also consider a do it yourself intercooler for like 450 bucks, its not a lot more and you could have a front mount like mine.

I would not go with the sidemount, because eventually almost everyone goes to a front mount. Try the Supra one, they are for sale all the time.

i have the hrc sm plus upper and lower ic pipes on mine. $300 is not bad for all that, however i agree that there is no "stage" designation to their side mount. they have only 1 side mount ic that is "good for 400hp". although i imagine that is crank hp so you can figure about 325ish at the wheels. which they say is in line with their super 16g. where you live it probably will not be a problem with heat soak, however i am already planning on water injection for the 4-8 weeks of +100 ambient days we have in houston. on my car i just unbolted the stock ic and soft pipes and the new hrc parts just bolted right up. the only thing hrc recommends is to open up the splash guard vent which is a simple thing to do in about 15-20 min.

he is right, the only reason i went with the sm is because i wanted to be stealthy a little longer. but when the "need for more speed" hits me again i know water injection and a sm will not keep things under control. if your goals are in the 300-325whp then the hrc/supra side mount should work.

thanks alot for the advice guys. I guess im going to get it. Im never going to have more than the 400 hp crank so it will be good enough for me. I would like a frount mount just for the look aspect but its not that big of a deal. i just want to make my car a little bit faster than it is just so i can have a little more fun with it.
