Had new converter made

This is the converter I had made. The side that mates to the motor is stock 10" mitsu, it tapers down to 7" on the side that goes in the tranny. Looks good, now I need to find out how it works.

Looks good. What is the reasoning for the 7" side? Higher stall, lower weight?

When are you going to give it a test run?
 
Reducing the size to 7" allows for higher stall. It should be somewhere around 6000-6500rpm. Still waiting on the input shaft to get done being made. I'm having a stronger one made with bigger and more splines for strength. I had the converter made with matching hub inside. I also had front and back anti balloon plates installed to compensate for all the torque, to keep the converter from ballooning.

What rpm is the car going to shift at?

Did you have the input hardened or is it a billet?
 
The car is going to be shifting at 11,000. The input shaft is made out of some special steel they had to order from England and it will be hardened.
