im looking to build my 2g awd trans real soon since its out the car for the motor rebuild. I just have a 2.0 fphta68 264/272 cam set up looking for ideas on stall speed. I like the way the car feels around town with the stock stall speed. That may not work out with my new found mods though. I looked into billett converters but I do not want any fuss in its day to day driving. The car is not of a daily driver than a track car.

stall speed of about 2500-2800 should work fine. This would probably translate to 4200-4500 the way IPT and some others like to try to guess. That 68 spools fast, you only need something a little bit looser than stock.

thanks for the advise. Looks like my trans builder wont touch this trans any way he dont want to use the parts I select only the ones he has. Which I dont think are ones of a name brand. I went to him on price since he was 800 for the build out of the car. He did my camaro with out a hitch 5 years ago still running strong but for some reason he dont want much to do with this one.

I'd find someone who has worked on these trans before, and then consider getting HighPSI's TCU chip.
