Guess what's wrong with this Timing belt install?

Ok boys,

Take a look at this pic. I finally got a chance to look at my cam sprockets after the timing belt install. Call me a liar, but aren't the dowel pins suppossed to be at 12 o'clock according the VFAQ instead of @ 6 o'clock? Would this be the problem for my Very rough idle (car shakes, buckles, chugs, etc. during idle and when clutch is in). The timing marks line up, though, so I don't know

The timing marks line up once the dowel pins are @ 12 o'clock, but they are reverse from the pic from VFAQ. The small mark is on the left and the big one is on the right. Didn't think this mattered, but it's different from the image.

Yes. It looks like you (or whoever installed the timing belt) needs to take it off and realign it all. The cam gears are 180 degrees from where they are supposed to be. Look at the relation of where the spokes of the cam gears in your picture are and the spokes on the cam gear in the diagram. 180 degrees off. :)

They actually wont line up PERFECT with the top of the head unless the dowels are up. It might look like it but TRUST me, they dont. Its probably a tooth off. As far as vibration and that stuff goes I would check and make sure the BS are in phase.
