As soon as it gets posted I will throw the video on here. I imagine they should have something out within two weeks time even with how they like to edit things.

Fast car, but why cant they get those gtr's to 60ft? Giving up 2 tenths or better to the rwd guys running similar times.

Same reason most DSM/Evo guys don't 60' well. It's still AWD and everything in the drivetrain is relatively small and weak, especially compared to the RWD community you speak of. RWD cars doing 185-190mph in the 1/4 are running 7.00-7.40s and have had 60 years of research and development to design extremely stout drivetrain and suspension components, not to mention they're physically way larger pieces.

If AMS gives it much more, it breaks. Shoot, they still cut a 1.3x 60' on the 7.98 pass. Hard to ask for much more than that. Plus, they've only fairly recently started really playing with the launch setup. The Syvecs module to allow them a full RWD burnout and full slicks on the rear wheels are key parts. They have the best of the best equipment, parts, and money. There's also a ton of weight that could still come out of the car so I'm sure this time will come down a bit more, though if they ever plan on racing the car at any real sanctioned events, they'll have to update the cage from an 8.50 cage to a 7.50 or better cage, which I doubt they'll do because it's a "street car". So outside of the mile, 1/2 mile, and track rental events, they won't be allowed to compete. I'd like to see them bring the car out to Maryland International Raceway for Imports vs. Domestics in November and race against the big boys.
