2G GT300 Rear Diffuser

I saw the older threads on this diffuser and it seemed as if no one had installed one yet or found a rear diffuser which wasn't custom made. I am in the same boat as a couple people and was just wondering if this has changed or if someone has found a good quality one which i could purchase and not have to make.'

That little of a diffuser won't do much, you need a lot more of the rear of the car opened up with a diffuser.

How often do you drive 100mph into a corner, really?

Like Rob10_99 said its not going to be really practical unless you are going over 100 mph.... It could be used for a nice show car look!

oh okay that makes sense but if i did just use this for show does this one look pretty decent. I really don't race that much i was just trying to get my car looking better so I can go into some shows in the future.

Do NOT...I repeat do NOT buy anything that has to do with Chaser Aerodynamics. Took them 10 months to give me a refund for a hood they never intended to have. If you don't believe me do a quick search on them. They suck.

It's totally not true that you have to be going fast for a diffuser to be functional at low and mid speed.

They can be for more than downforce, such as stability in a straight line, or to diffuse the air behind the car to reduce drag.

What exactly are you wanting out of one? Odds are you are only going to hurt performance with it. But they do look great.

In order for the diffuser to be more functional, it needs to be built so it helps smooth out the bottom of the car. A lot of those kits just hang out there without actually closing off what causes turbulence under the car. Could add a panel ahead of this one to make it smooth...

i was mainly looking at one because i went to the Olympia show yesterday and all the Evos there made me want a diffuser

I was thinking it might be interesting to try to modify the evo 9 front diffuser to use on our cars. Could be interesting to see the results.
