GSX Question

I have a 99 GSX but I keep having troubles with my tcase. I was wondering if i could just take off the tcase and driveline and drive it without damaging the tranny til I get everything rebuilt? Any help is appreciated.

To run an awd trans as fwd you need a welded center diff or a VCE (viscous coupling eliminator) installed.

No, you can't just take the transfer case off and drive it. You destroy the viscous coupler in the transmission and the car would just not go anywhere.
