okay, ive posted my problem at pther websites with no god feedback:

my car is over revving when warming up. jumps to 2000rpm and stays there the whole time until put into drive. My engine is knocking when its wariming up. and my car is misfiring. New Magnecore wires, New Bpr7es NGK's gapped at .028. When i floor it my car gets louder than it uased too revs jump up tp 4500 but dosent really go anywhere. I dunno what theh problem is. I want my car back to atleast its old condition where i could run all of these ricers and beta on em like nothing, even some mustangs

Engine knocking = lifter tick?? Does the knocking go away as the car warms up? I'd also try adjusting the BISS screw as far the high idle goes. I'm assuming this car is an automatic when you say you put it in drive. If the car doesn't go anywhere or is slow taking off, like a slipping clutch, your torque converter is dying, or your end clutches in your tranny are shot. Time to invest some money in maintenance, which nobody seems to do anymore.

i think you might be right about the torque converter. I have done a couple of launches while holding the brake when i race. last time i did it there was a funny smell coming from my car and it wasnt the exhaust. i will check those wires to make sure though, is easy to overlook shit whne its 2 in the morning and your tryin to hurry up and go to sleep.
