gsx problem

hi i buy a gsx 1995 here in my country guatemala, the car is very good, and is stock a have problem with his 1995 GSX.

he running good everyday, but I went to the 1/8 mile track and a week after the GSX started acting a bit crazy. when he goes hard on the gas and about 6.5k rpm the car cuts and does like a misfire, but if you go easy on the gas, it does not do it.

Any help would be good. I don't know much about the 4g63t's. Only 420a

I'm searching for more info.

Stock? Have you tried to turn up the boost at all? Possibly fuel cut, having the same problem right now though and cant figure out why.

How's your ignition timing. Is it within 4 to 6 degrees btdc...

Wow. Holy smokes, that's the first thing that needs to be checked. Then look elsewhere.

thanks a some friends tell me that recomendations, make the leak test and i dont now how psi have my turbo garret t25 because i dont have any boost gauge only the stock, and i go check plugs and wires

I definitely second these remarks. Especially the spark plugs. I had the same problem when i bought my first TSi AWD.

### is a boost test going to resolve ? if he is leaking boost than the car is never gonna hit high boost so i wud scratch that one off. u just got the car. dont know ### conditions it went thru. y dont u go ahead and start off wit a brand spanking new spark plugs. maybe they r worn or fouled out !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haha your funny killer. Why replace the plugs when you can just simply check them if they are good or not? DSM are notorious for having boost leaks. I do more boost leak tests then change my oil every month. If he has a boost leak then it can cause more air then fuel to mix and when that happens you have a lean misfire. You got like 10 people in here suggesting BLT, come on dude, BLT is on top of the list of maintanance.

i m not gonna argue. thats my two cents. i do nottin but work on these cars and evos all day. i have seen more boost leaks than anyone on this forum. i can tell you it aint a fuel cut if it doesnt have a boost controller. unless the wastegate hose is not seeing any kinda boost. the car misfires when he gets on it. and also you cant see if a plug is fouled out by eye. just to prove a point, racker pull a spark plug out and tell us if the tip is black or ashy. or if it looks clean
