Im looking into buying an almost stock GSX, It is all stock except for catback, intake and hks bov. Owner says the car has a stalling problem randomly while driving, no specific rpm, boost, no rough idle, none of the normal symptoms.
The owner thinks its a bad alternator, I'm not too sure on that because he said it starts right up after stalling.
Ive read that venting a BOV to atmosphere on the stock maf can cause problems, is it possible that the BOV is venting so much air that the engine is running way to rich and flooding itself?
He is asking 1500, rest of the car looks good, Is this problem a deal breaker?
EDIT, Forgot to mention that its auto, so the driver isnt the problem
