Well long story short i got a parts car/shell for $100 bucks so i could get some parts off of it a scrap it. But decided to make it a street reliable car as it was in good shape and no rust. Just needed cleaning. Like carpet washed. And some suspension work as some of the bushings on the front did not have nuts so everything was loose. So heres the list of stuff i need.

Engine
Transmission
Shifter cables
Radiator
Headlights
Fuel line clutch line
Clutch and brake pedals.
Shifter assembly
Axles.
Turbo back exhaust
Wheels
Power steering lines
Windshield
Fuel tank
Bushings
And alot of misc stuff.

This is how it sat for a month while i was taking stuff off it. Before i knew i wanted to keep it.

Well i forgot to take pictures of the carpet when i took it off and cleaned it. And the surface rust on the bottom of it for being soaked in water for days. But oh well. Here is when i was done cleaning and sprayed with undercoating just in case.

A friend of mine crashed his car near buda tx some old lady cut him off. Well thats what i heard. It was a nice clean gsx. And well he sold me his evo wheels for a good price that I couldn’t pass. $150 with 90% tread Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Poletires

This is how it sits while im putting it back together. Piece by piece its getting there

As you can see i got a hold of a radiator, some fenders, a decent pair of headlights, a fuel pump, power steering lines, shifter cables with shifter base, some pedals, brake master cylinder with booster, clutch reservoir with masters, some side skirts pieces. A pair of axles.

Guess what i bought!!!


Thats right a 7 bolt complete engine. It was running good then a sound was coming from the tranny so i pulled it apart to see what it was and then to install it and send it.

I dont know if i can upload a video here but wow!! Just wow. The noice coming from the tranny was the flywheel bolts!!! My friend i bought it from said it was the throw out bearing because when he pressed the clutch it went away. But damn all the bolts were loose. I didn’t get to take a pic as i was surprised at what i saw. But oh well this engine was sitting on a car for 9 years without turning it on so id figured.

And oh well in it went and to call it a night.

Axles and suspention bushings all nice and tight. And installed a new engine harness because the one that came with this gst was wired for the 1g cas. So i saved it for the other project. Radiator with fans installed and all the innercooler pipes and upper installed aswell.

And look what i got in the mail today yess!!!

Ugh look at my fuel pump. The good thing is i got a new one with hanger. The bad thing is the gas tank has to come out to get cleaned. And i need new fuel lines also.

So fuel tank came off and wow just wow the whole tank is rusted and gas looks like jello. So nope this is trash. Good think theres a dsmer near by with a bunch of dsm cars for parts.

I got a tank the next day he even took it out for me and the fuel lines also. When i got there it was already aside waiting for me he is awesome. So i brought it home and waiting for tonight to put it in. (the dark one is the new one).

New tank in and after a few problems car starts and drives perfect. Just minor stuff needed to be a nice daily. Like new paint and windshield.

Got a new windshield for it $95 bucks installed and delivered!

Then i got it to run right so i went to clean the wheels cause tires had a bunch of dirt inside from the accident. Balanced and cleaned.

And how it currently sits. But it keeps wanting to overheat on me. Temperature rises while on the freeway. Not when im in city though. Weird. But ill keep checking it.

Tried selling it. I had a couple of people interested but decided to keep it! Keep it as ma daily so with that being said lets continue!!

I painted my valve cover just so it wont look to messy and added a jmf cop plate. Just so it looks clean.

Then i saw stevie miller parting out a gs with a nice Lebra attached to it so i just had to have it

That stock brown radiator looks pretty suspect

I just noticed you are running a stock air box with an aftermarket intake with a stock 2g mass air flow sensor.

Would you be willing to sell that intake?

I got it so it with the pipes its a dejon tool pipe i just like how it hides and makes it look stock

It was the radiator i did a swap with the spyder i got for parts and nomore issues at all especially in these texas 100 plus heat. And bought a heat shield for 40 bucks shipped and sold my stock one for 35 shipped so i guess i got a good deal.

If you deliver it to Dallas I'll gladly buy it from you. IDGAF if the AC doesn't work as long as the motor and trans are healthy, and it has that dejon intake
