GST High Idle

Symptom: Idles at steady 1900

What I know about the car: Had motor swapped. No Cruise. No AC. Egr Delete

What I've already tried: Cleaned MAF sensor. Fixed Boost Leaks. Put on correct EGR. Bought new Idle Air Controller. Changed out Spark Cables.

Any ideas?

I thought idle hits fuel cut around 1500rpm and then starts surging. Yours doesnt ?

Listen to the engine for a hiss sound around the intake.

Best way to find exactly where a vacuum leak is spraying carb cleaner on a cold running motor

Best way to find the exact spot of the leak if that doesn't work is to use a 2ft long piece of 3/8 hose, stick one end in your ear and hold the other end to different points of the engine to find the hiss of a vacuum leak

I'll try a temp sensor next. No more boost leak I did the old soapy water trick, everything is good to go. @TermTrky I doesn't surge. just idles at 1900, but it's making noise as if it's idling at 4K .

Also check your throttle cable, make sure throttle body is actually closing. Does it stay at 1900 hot or cold?
