gst fluid reservoir to rs

Do you have a rear hatch with a rear wiper already and all the parts? If your RS did not come with a REAR wiring HARNESS, then you will need to make one or cut one out. All you need few connectors for the wiper motor, Reservoir pump, and switch.

Well im doing the same mod. You will need all the pluming. On the turbo cars the fluid line runs from the res tank in the spare tire area down the right side of the interior,up to the right side of fire wall. Thier is a plug that will have to be removed and the gromet with the tubing put in its place. The power and ground wires will have to be leangthed and rerouted to the res. U will also need the filler tubing and filler gromet from the donor car. Pop out the plug on the left side hatch opening and replace with the gromet and filler tubing for the resavor. Every thing should be plug and play exept for the wiring.

Also if u dont have a rear wiper and the res has dual pumps then one of the pumps will have to be blocked off with somthing like a vacume tubing blocker or some thing else. So as not to fill your spare tire area with washer fluid.

I have searched the forums and haven't really found anything but this thread and this one http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/appearance-interior-exterior/409499-adding-rear-wiper-arm.html

Has anyone completed this project?

Putting a Rear wiper into a RS?

I have a hatch from a GS on my RS along with the High Rise, but I want to make the rear wiper work.

I know I will need a few things such as ( Let me know if I missed anything! )

- Wiper / arm motor etc...
- Wiper switch
- Wire harness
- Wiper fluid that goes into the spare tire area
- Tube that connect to the Fluid

Im only doing because of my motor swap. The original washer resivor stopped me from running the srt throttle cable . I am not using a rear wiper on my car just deleting the 420a washer and going to a turbo style.
