I have tried to search for a solution; however, that has been a fail for me. First let me start off by saying I KNOW that AWD is better in most respects with the exception of cost. I am looking to get a real clean 97 GST... 85,600 miles all stock and in factory condition. This car is going to remain unmodified and not abused. So taken this into consideration... the snow. How does it do? I'd prefer answers from those who have been there and driven it respectfully and used a light foot. Obviously if you dig in its going to suck. So anyone who can give me any insight on this thanks ahead of time!

Seeing how my folks are funding this car, I need to convince them it'll be a good car.

I drove my 98 GST Spyder in the winter with bald tires. I never got stuck and if i did i easily got out. My car was lowered too.

Most cars I've driven have been FWD and I live in New England.

There was occasions with slipping, but nothing that I couldn't handle. Issues were more like when the person in front of me stopped and I was on a hill. That was a tough one.

Go for it!

Thats when i thought, sacrifice a rim, or the whole front end. Just go into the curb :p

Dude I live in minnesota and I got around just fine in my 97 GST with all season tires. Granted that was a few years ago when I still drove 2g's.
