Ok so I had another one of those days were everything went wrong but ended up ok. I installed a new set of gsc springs and retainers with gsc s1 cams. So I did my homework and researched two ways to Install the springs on the engine. The compressor or rope method. I chose both as I always Like a backup. Long story short, rope I chose was left at homedepot, had to use the compressor method which died while two valves were floating in the head. I hurried and managed to finish before dropping a valve. I had two cylinders to go and used a rope I found in my shed. Well the rope appears to be nylon and old and managed to get caught on two of the valves inside the head (guess). I'm guessing as I compressed the spring and pulled the valve up it got caught somehow. So now air or rope was out of the question if I wanted to remove the springs to get the old rope out. I used a map gas torch with the piston in tdc and at the bottom with a long neck to slowly burn out the rope. I later vacuumed out all the small pieces. I managed to get everything out and the engine runs. The only thing I notice now is my tune is way off. Like I'm getting knock were I wasn't before.
