GRRR, I DON"T WANA GO FROM AWD to FWD!!!

Well, I used to have a Celica alltrac not a long while ago but sold it just recently. So now I'm looking to buy a 96-99 Eclipse Turbo. I'd like a GSX but they're just so fukin hard to find where I live. I've seen a couple for sale about 200-400 miles away from where I live but they are either overpriced or have a load of miles on them or are FEAKIN Automatics (and No, I wouldn't want to do a manual conversion). Why the hell did mitsubishi make a sportscar an automatic??????? I've also seen a couple of GST's around but I really don't want to go with FWD since I"m used to AWD and the awd launch and sh!t like that.
And there is that crankwalk problem with the DSMs I keep hearing about. Some people tell me not to worry about it but whenever I'm convinced they're right I see another person complaining about crankwalk.
Can anybody tell me where I could find an affordable 95-99 GSX from ($0-$8000 is how much I can spend on one).
Come on people help me out here. Perhaps somebody of you guys has one for sale???

i wouldnt even worry about crankwalk if it means not buying the car. you could try getting it shipped to you although its expensive or meet the person with the car half way.

I tried DSMtrader.com, Ebay, And Autotrader but I didn't have luck finding one that is less than 400 miles away from me. You said not to worry about crankwalk Wouldn't it be a BIG problem??? I mean, I don't want to buy the car and then have to spend another 2g or so on a new engine.

Have you tried looking in an autotrader magazine, or in the local classifieds. We also have a classified section on here with cars. Check there too.

yeah I've looked at Autotrader.....no luck. Where is the car for sale section you're talking about, in this forum? Do you mean Dsmtrader? I've been there already if that's what you mean.

Post on Omaharacing.com. You should be able to find one. There is a guy selling a bolted on 2g with 16g, 97 body conversion for 5k. Its 5 speed awd.
