fwd to awd

Hey guys i looking to pick up a talon tsi 5 spd just because its 300 dollar buy and i want to make my fwd a awd car it sounds easy but i know it cant be. i would just drive the tsi but it has too much body damage. Im looking for any help/ideas/advice on how to do this swap. I know how to transfer the transmissions but not sure how to change out the rear ends.

Short answer, no. Floor pans are different on 1g's which makes it a very involved and difficult swap.

its a rather long process. I have a buddy who did it and it took a long time for us to do it. You basically need a donor car anyway so get a blown all wheel or just buy one in general and drive that .
