ok guys im confused by v/c eliminator or welding the diff. i have awd and my transfer case went out now i just need to drive it. what can be done to do this. if i take the tranfer case and drive line out it doesnt move.i know this now but what can i do. its a 91 awd eclipse with a awd manual 90 tsi swap. 22 spline.

what happened to the tcase? I think you could find one on ebay ,, i did just to have a back up one . think it was like 350 after shipping . I would be a lot to convert it to fwd imo . either way GL keep us posted :thumb:

It's easier to just put in another transfer case than go through all of the work to make it FWD. IIRC the VCE is only for a temporary use i.e. dyno pull etc.

im looking to sell it but the guy wants it to drive for a couple weeks before he can fix it.
i didnt change the rear end when i did the manual swap. so now a ujoint failed and took out my transfer case. i dont really have the much money or time to buy a tranfercase and plus a manual rear end. thats why im getting rid of it. ive ran out of patience. if anyone has both please let me know. my other question would be then why do people put in a awd tranny in a fwd car and do this vc eliminator.
