Call DSS or GC and tell them what you want to do. They can tell you exactly what you need to do. For a 1G, I would use either Koni's or AGX's.

Isn't a mix of the two what he wants? As in: Konis fronts and AGX rears. I believe the reason for AGX rears is that the adjuster on the rear Konis is impossible to get to. The Konis in the front are for the travel (and quality).

In any event, I agree: call RRE, GC, or Mike at DSS.

What to do with the front end on the 2Gs. AGXs are .75" longer than the stocker. What are the Koni's?? Are they a shorten shock??

wel that is what I am talking about for my 1G, just like in the pic, i want GC and Knis all the way around. And see how clean it is, like a perch was never there

my set up is close to the same. 550fr/450rr.

I f you get koni/gc, you will not regret the extra money spent.

You should try 650/550. :D

But don't try it with Koni's. At 550, you are already stressing the stock Yellow valving.

All right here is the deal.

I have AGXs in the rear already, I had to get some shock to cut down on the rear wheel hop that I was getting after the roll cage was installed. I had used AGXs on my 1G and they worked fine so I threw a set in the rear.

Now I am wanting to finish out the rest of the suspension. My car is 90% drag only. A welded center diff is not to user friendly on an AutoX track :D

I have a friend that has H&R springs 1.7" drop with AGXs all the way around. He hits the front bump stops all the time. He is the one that measured the AGXs vs the stock ones and noticed the AGXs were .75" longer when compressed.

I am pretty much set on the GC coilovers. What shocks whould i be looking at up front?? Something that will give me max travel. Also what spring rates should I be looking at to get better launchs??

Yes I know. Its looking like next year the car is going to go from an SM car to a full blown road race car. I know I'm at the limit of the Koni's at 550lbs. But, thats what JICs are for :)
