Grinding gear when clutch in.

Check your shift cables for excess play immediately after the bracket and so forth they are probably starting to deteriorate.

Yea.. After I got a 16g installed the clutch hasn't been right since. Someone told me that maybe a cable is hitting a hose because it's hard to get the shifter back into neutral.

Yeah I just had to replace mine they came apart I could not get 24 and reverse another guy I knew couldnt hit 135 and when he got new ones it grinds every gear cuz they are just starting to get play in them. The hard clips hold the sleeve steady but when it starts loosening then you get play so your shifter will go into say first gear but its binding in the cable causing it not to engage and grind yuck. . They are simple to replace but that may not be your problem however I hope it is.
