car pulls when clutch is depressed, also grinding when i try to put in gear

The car is a 91 gsx. When i got my car back in febuary, the transmission had a slight grind in 1st and 2nd. It has no got to the point where the car will pull foward when the clutch is pushed in. I put a new slave cylinder in, still does it. The car will also grind when i try to put it in gear. Even if i slighy push the shifter foward. It does this in all gears, except for 4th. But if i put it n 4th, the car will cut off.

Any ideas of what i can try, or should i just get a new transmission for it? Any help is greatly apprecated!

Pedal assembly or fork/ball most likely.

I was told the pedal assembly was a possiblity by a friend of mine, but he said that i should pump the pedal with my hand and try to pull it up, if it didnt go past the brake pedal, it was fine, have you heard of this method? Ill guess if its not the pedal, and the fork or ball, the transmission has to come out regardless correct?

It's been a while since I had a 1g but 2gs have an adjustable rod at the top of the pedal you can adjust until it fixes the grinding into gear. Check if you have one.

Yes it definitely sounds like a adjustment issue, have you looked into this? Have you bled the clutch? If you haven't done it in a while you should do that regardless.

Well i was considering that it was a shift fork issue, so i pulled my transmission out, the fork looked great. So i decided to take a look at the clutch. I took the pressure plate off and a spring from the clutch fell out. Come to find out, my clutch fell apart.
