Has anyone installed one of those grills with zip-fasteners? I was wondering if anyone has any experience how they did it and how well the fasteners hold up? I prefer to put my money into the engine rather than a grill and found some durable material that would look quite aggressive. The guy told me I could bolt it in or put on these extra strength fasteners that could hold 50 lbs each when the grill only weighs ~3-4 lbs. Just wondering if anyone has any input/suggestions...

Did this work require bumper removal or did you just jack it up to get under there? I really don't want to have to take my bumper off because I'd probably mess something up with that. I can't seem to find any instructions posted online and kind of want to know what I'm getting myself into. There really aren't any custom car places around my area and thus rely on you guys. Thanks...

What year is your car, is it a 1g or 2g?

I got plenty of links to bumper removal i can dig up if your 2g.
its not bad at all.

It's a 1999 GS-T Spyder (2G).

I'd like to take a look at those links if you'd post them.

Last question, if you do zip-fasten the grill on -- what do they attach to? Thanks.

well actually I only used zip-ties on the top portion of the grill, for the lower half I undid the bolts underneither the lower bumper, and put the bolt back on with the grill between it.

I donno if 2gs are the same.
