Ok im going to get the Injen Intake. Now i know this question was asked in another thread BUT i couldnt make out the final decision. I plan to recirculate. Now the question is: Which injen intake should i get for the Greddy Type-S BOV, the one with the stock BOV or Aftermarket BOV??thats it that all i want to know, which setup will allow me to recirculate??

Also does anyone have a picture of what the Injen Intake looks like on a turbo'd eclipse like mine??i went to the Injen site and it only shows the N/A intake!! anyways please dont flame me as i m slowly but surely making my way to DSM wisdomness!! i just bought a motor from Soho for my car and am planning getting this to start off: Injen Intake, Greddy BlOV Type-S, Bushcur Racing 2.5" downpipe, and short shifter kit. Is that a good way to start??anyways thanks for your time guys!!!

Ok sounds like a plan, but that didnt really answer my question LOL not to be too blunt, i plan on following the upgrade path so dont worry about that but i also would sometime put these things in there also but i like planning ahead so i need to know the answer to the quetion! <--not too sound like a smart ass.

Anyways thanks for the feedback and do not worry guys, this will not be another wasted 4g63!! i do plan on doing this right!!! I am taking the upgrade path that this site provides as my guideline. BUT i like to plan ahead, way ahead. The boost controller, gauge and such will be put on around the same point i get the intake, bov, and downpipe. Thats the way i am. patient. Like my stereo. Ive been buying each part a piece at a time, NOT putting them in till i get most of the pieces.

Same thing with my engine. I wont put in pieces until i have what i feel is right. im gonna get most of the pieces short of the turbo and intercooler first THEN put them on. i dont know if thats the right way to do engine work but its the way i like to put stuff in, in "sets" so to speak. ill get my first parts "set" namely intake, bov, downpipe, boost controller and gauge, short shifter, fuel injectors, and even the speedometer gauges BEFORE i put them all in at the same time!! it takes longer but then again thats how i work. anyways can you guys please answer my question!!!

wow... how do you clean your engine?! :rocks:

Anyways, dont listen to these guys. The 2g intake necks down at the bottom - so it will free up SOME restriction - but they are correct in the sense that you should get other parts before an injen intake. You should prolly go with dejon or some reputable company. RRE sells a hacker device that just replaces the neck down part - its not flashy, but it'll take care of the restriction. :dsm:

The injen intake is nice (I liked it when I had it) but consider a dejontool being as it's a little less expensive and you can get it in multiple colors if you want to go for a color scheme under your hood and just want it to overall look clean.

But the pic posted shows you the injen.

This is a dejontool one and the color choices are up at the top of their webpage.

Also they do the piping to the IC if you want to plan on using one of their full kits that boltup. Very good company as well but you can't go wrong either way.
