im picking up a type s tomorrow should i buy the adapter flange from dejontool or should i just drill it to my stock bov flange?

My ic pipe has a 1g flange, I drilled it to accomodate greddy bovs. No problem whatsover, and a lot of people have been doing it for a while. I hear the process is irreversible, meaning once its done you cannot use 1g bovs anymore? Is that true, because I don't see it being a problem as long as the holes mount up, mounting and discharge, and as long as the new greddy mounting holes don't overlap with the discharge.

I just did a greddy rs BOV swap in my DSM. I looked at drilling the 1G mounting points again, but the size of the flapper on the RS is much larger than the size of the 1G hole in the flange. So I switched to a regular greddy flange. I couldn't be happier.

I had a type s on my 91, just drill 2 new holes and be done with it. It works perfectly and no leaks.

You could still use your original BOV after drilling the holes also. If you want to go back to stock, just slap some jb weld into the holes you drilled.
