Greddy Turbo Timer starts counting down when using turn signal

It started a few months ago and ive been to lazy and busy to really check into it... But my turbo timer will start counting down when I turn on the turn signal. Left or right, it doesnt matter it will start counting down. I checked just about every fuse and I dont think thats the problem. Just kinda weird .. anyone else ever had this problem, or know what I should look for?

no way to actually tell you whats wrong other then a wiring or circuit problem inside the timer...

they should incorporate somthin like that for old people that leave the blinker on !

Same problem here. On my first Talon, and now on my current one. Anyone ever figure out a fix? I get tired of hearing the Ms. Pacman theme song every time I turn!

sorry to bring up a semi old post again ... but I'm having this issue now as well. I cant figure it out and was wondering if anyone has a fix for this yet...(new timer maybe?) ...

as for the guy that does not like the noise from the timer, you can turn the sound off by holding in one of the buttons ..(I forget which one but I think its the power button)

Has to be either wiring, or a circuit problem internally. Did you connect any add. wires besides the harness? If so check those and maybe contact the greddy/hks/apexi ex.

My 2g was fine for a long time.... somewhere in the midst of getting fully rebuilt this started happening to me also... but it doesn't always happen. No solution here either... I checked all of the wiring for the TT.

Check the acc wire it sounds like tou have it taped in to the turn signal wire

i had the same problem with my GReddy TT (installed on my 1g by the previous owner) and once i looked into the problem it turned out someone had wired the ACC into the turn signal fuse...? if it is all wired properly then id say it is something internally in the turbo timer, invest in an Apexi - i did and i dont regret it one bit...no pacman theme song stuck in my head either!

I also had this issue with my last Greddy turbo timer. I think Greddy may have a mixed trace or something, I used the Greddy Harness to wire it in, tried a friends and it didn't have the issue. Someone w/ an understanding of the board would be the one to help us on this one. It was just annoying to me so I would leave it turned off until I was ready to shut the car off.
