Turbo Timer Counting Up instead of Down..

Here's the story. I installed the GReddy turbo timer a couple of weeks ago and everything worked fine. It counted down and the engine was off when the counter was down to zero. Well something happened that I think might have ####ed it up. I left the headlights on when I left to go out w/some friends and when I came back the battery was dead. We jumped it and since then the timer turns on but the time increases even when not driving and does not countdown anymore so I have to wait like old time and manually press the off button to turn the car off. Does anyone know how to diagnose this problem? Thanks a lot!

You know the Greddy Turbo Timer has a lap mode where it counts up right?

Anyways I think you should recheck all the wires and fuses and make sure none of em are grounding out.

might need to be recalibrated to your rpms.

I am having the same problem, mine counts up while driving but will not keep the car running when I take the key out. Double, triple checked wiring, removed and replaced and have messed with the settings too much.

Happened after I got a jump as well.

i did something with mine and I'm not sure how good for the turbo timer this is, but hey, ill post it here, but do it at your own risk.

mine wasnt working (greddy)... it wouldnt count up, it wouldnt keep the car running, it wouldnt go through the menus, so i saw a switch on the back, flipped the switch, turned off the car and the thing made the most awful noise ive ever heard so i hit the power on it. i flipped the switch back over and turned the car back on, and bam, it let me flip through the menus, it counted up when i drove, and it kept the car on when i turned it off. just something you might want to try if you get desperate, but try it at your own risk, i am not responsible for what you do. this could potentially damage your turbo timer, since im not sure what it is i did and it did make a really terrible noise, almost like when you fry some electronics...

I had the same issue when i first installed it, what fixed my problem was on the back of the greddy tt is a lil switch, just switch it. go for a lap drive and try it. Thats what fixed my issue. Good Luck.
