Ihave a Greddy boost controller Profec Type S. I just instlled a PTE 5857 turbo that has the internal wastegate. Right now I believe that the "NO" port is "T"ed into the blow off vacuum line that is running from bov to the mani. Right now the "COM" port is unhooked, Im not sure what to do with it exactly, I know it needs to go the the turbo wastegate, just a little confused.

The PTE5857 turbo has a blue vacuum line running around the turbo, One end is hooked into the wastegate and the other line is running to a port (nipple) that is on the compressor side of the turbo.

Can I just cut this blue vacuum line in half and put a T connection in it to hook up the solenoid, or do I need to hook up the COM directly to Wastegate and plug the nipple, or is the NO port hooked in wrong and needs to go the the nipple port thats on the compressor side of the turbo?

Sorry if this is confusing to some people, just need a little bit guidance on this one...

I have almost the same turbo. I can answer yes, you can cut the blue hose and T into it. No harm done. I have an inline style mbc i hooked up right there.
Not sure about the electronic boost controller, ive never seen one.

ok thats what i was thinking i just wanted other opinions before i started hacking into vacuum lines and then realize there was a better way of doing it and having to go out and by new parts for something. :thumb:

So is that the proper way of setting the boost controller: by cutting the blue vacuum line and putting a T connection in it so the "com" port plugs into it.
