chtown,
Im having problems trying to get this profec b spec ll to try and stay at a steady boost whne i spool up it goes up as high as it wants i need help to use this better. It should go up and stay at a steady boost like if it were set for 15 psi thats where it should go. Its kpa so what does 1 kpa work out to in psi? Thanks!!

I have the same problem what setting did you set yours so it keeps the boost @ the same level?

You need to play with the settings on the Prof-B to get it to hold boost steady. By adjusting the gain you alter the reaction time on how slow/fast it will try to equalize to your settings. High gain = jerky(high low high low), low gain = creeps but tends to be more steady.

OK so i bought the car with this in it and i allways thought it was slow to spool up could this boost controller be doing this??? What do u guys think??? any site to read the instructions???

I had a helluva time trying to get mine to work and to get help getting it to work. It finally came down to my figuring out that it wasn't plumbed correctly. I ran the proper hoses to the proper locations, and it works PERFECTLY. Before I go into detail, are you SURE you have it installed properly?

No im not sure if i do can u help me out by pictures or wat not i have one hose goin to my ezternal waste gate that goes int a selnoid and another hose that is t in of my bov ??

Ok, here's all the answers, summed up in one uncontaminated spot.

On the control solenoid:
COM ---> end of wastegate furthest from exhaust manifold
NO ---> just leave open, unplugged
NC ---> good vacuum source
Also, 'T' off of the good vacuum source running into the NC plug and run that to the end of the wastegate side closest to the exhaust manifold.

EBC Settings (please note: This setting works best with my mods. My "Lo" setting should also be a good point for you, regardless of your mods. My "Hi" setting may need some tweaking to suit your needs, but the "Lo" is a good place to start.)

Lo:
SET = 20%
GAIN = 5%
SET GAIN = 7
WARNING = 115
L. = 4%

Hi:
SET = 40%
GAIN = 10%
SET GAIN = 13
WARNING = 185
L. = 9%

These settings give me the fastest spool-up with no boost spike and no drop-off. In "Lo" setting, I immediately boost to 11.5 psi and it holds there throughout all rpm ranges. In "Hi" setting, I immediately boost to 18.5 psi and it holds there throughout all rpm ranges, with no boost spike.

Works good for me. The main thing is to make sure you have those hoses connected properly or it won't work right.

Ok, I'm not sure if i'm having the same problem but what happens to me is I'm in second gear at low rpms and I punch it. What it does is the boost completely breaks loose and spikes to like 12lbs immediatly w/o even letting the turbo do its spooling (or boost building). I've played around w/ the setting a bunch of times and nothing is helping. The higher I boost the faster it spikes. It sounds horrible especially w/ the exhaust and all... LOL. I believe it's my lines but can anyone send me a write out to where their lines are running to / teeing off to? I'm using the stock t25 turbo.

Thanks again guys.

My friend told me to try teeing off the wastegate line to the turbo housing
are we even using the turbo housing in this installation or can it be plugged?

you have the NO and NC backwards. per greddys instructions the NC is left open and the NO port goes to a good vacum source. i would post a picture but the instructions are in a pdf format. just check GREDDY'S website. i just installed one today on my cousins gsx w/stock t-25. I installed it per the instructions and it works fine.

What will happen if i left the nc end pluged.

Also do you guys connect directly to the fuel pressure regulator vacum hose like its stated in the greddy profec b spec 2 manual!
