Anyone have opinions of this as a boost controller? I want an EBC that can serve as a nice digital Boost Guage as well (dont want to have to buy a guage).

Any other EBC's out there that can serve for this purpose as well that you guys would recomend over this unit?

I have one, works really nice w/ the e-manage. I only was able to run the E-01 for two days before my engine blew up. So I cannot say how it works in the long run. Looks and works really nice as a boost gauge bc you can change the way it shows boost and everybody else likes it :thumb:

I wonder if it can be used to log or display data from other sources that are not the e-Manage.

So there is no need to have a Boost Guage with this guy... right?

Yes you can monitor other things for instance greddy electric gauges, you can monitor anything with a voltage output between 1-5v if I am right, but you need a extra harness for it (I am going to hook up a WB02. Nope you dont need a extra boost gauge.

Greddy Electric Guages? Interesting... anyone have additional details?

I see this installed on the Dash on most brochures and websites. I wonder if it can be installed with a Bezel inside the space for the OEM radio? I stripped out all the knobs, A/C vents and radio nad have plans of putting the Boost Controller there, An SAFC on top and the guages where the A/C knobs used to be.

I would get the e-boost for the same money instead of the e01

I'd rather have real guages than a guesstimate by a greddy computer, and i'd rather have a small guage type display and easy set it forget it install than mess with the HUGE E01.

oh and the e-boost (turbosmart) has a trigger for meth/water injection or for a water sprayer, overboost light etc.

I dont like the form factor on the e-Boost. I have heard that the Greddy computer is as accurate as any Autometer Guage.
