Well after reading over this thread, it has further convince me to use their T-28 with all the goodies when its time for the turbo. Think they'll take two t-25 and discount 200 bucks in core charges?

I rebuilt my 14b with one of their kits.I was pretty satisfied with it and it's still running good. The nut that holds on the compressor wheel seems better than the oem one,it locks down a lot better.

Hello again Will...Well, we can still give the core credit for the first
T25, and we can give you a credit for the second T25, but it would be
based on an inspection and the price would be based on the condition of
the turbo. So, you can either send us in both of the turbos up front and
let us determine the core price for the second core. Or, you can purchase
the BIG T28 outright and then send the turbos in for a core/refund once we
agree upon a core price for the secoond turbo. Let us know if you have any
other questions. Thank you,

Thats what was sent back to me in response to two core charges in case anyones interested.

I bought a 14b online and rather than waste my time by installing an unknown turbo, I sent it to GPOPSHOP for inspection and rebuild/porting. After inspecting it, they said it was in decent shape except for the exhaust blades were chipped and so needed replacing. Also they said it wasn't a 14b, but big 16g and who ever sold it didn't know what they had... so free score for me.

Anyways, so I had them rebuild the turbo and fix the blades as well as port it. My experience with them so far has been great, good contact and fast work at a decent price. It also looks very nice. I cannot wait for the spring to install the turbo. Here are some photos of it:

EDIT: Taken exactly from gpopshops website: "Big T28 Compressor Wheel rated at 34lb/min or 340hp" I don't know where you got 375HP at.
The "60 trim" wheel is the compressor wheel that makes it a t28. The Stage 3 Turbine wheel is what makes it a Big t-28

There are several FP Big-28s in the 320-340AWD WHEEL horsepower range. And at least one documented AWD 350WHP car out there. So either the FP variant IS different (and better) or those flow rates are drastically understated. In either case any big-28 variant is a good choice for a true bolt on. But perhaps you should speak to both companies, though FP probably isn't going to tell you what they actually use, because as just pointed out... it may be better than the "norm" for Big T-28 dealers.

Jim and Jerry are both the man. They have been super helpful and always willing to work with u and give u an honest to goodness answer. THey dont try to sell u something u dont need or want. I bought a bullseye 57 trim through him. Awesome deal. I also sent him a turbo to get rebuilt. We were going to rebuild, but it ended up being better going with BEP for the price i paid! His porting and polishing is amazing also.
