Got ripped of by fellow dsm'er

I just bought a 14b from a fellow member who claimed it was professionally rebuilt and had zero miles on it. Well he totally lied to me and the turbo is junk. I looked it over had alittle shaft play but not bad so I installed. Did everything correct went for test drive didn't even make it off my block and heard the whine of death. Thought maybe just needed to spool alittle well I had my ibc all the way down and couldn't get any boost. Tried everything things a piece of junk. I need some advice the guy won't answer my calls and won't refund me. Anyone with some help would be greatly appreciated.

You shouldve checked his classified rating. You def need to rate him and say what he did so others don't get ripped off. +1 on deleting his name or this thread will be closed. Idk what to tell you, but that sucks

Thanks good looking out bro. Ya I did he didn't have anything negative exept that he had left negative a remarks about someone else. He seemed legite and we even stayed in contact till I told him the news then no more answers. I wasn't able to post feedback because of my member status. Thanks for the help guys!

Are you 100% sure it was the turbo?

What did it look like after you took it off?

Ya it's the turbo I took the intake off and rev alittle and could see the compressor wheel wobbling. Also can see where the wheel hit the housing. I had to install my friends old t25 cars runs perfect and has boost
