so i got pissed at the ### stock airbox so i ripped that stupid tube that goes from the airbox to the fender out... i noticed that i can hear my turbo a little bit more, and it seems to run decent... at least thats what my ass dyno says...

will this negatively effect performance in the long run?

no but replace the entire intake with a K&N set up.. i personally like hard intake pipes to the turbo. but get rid of the airbox. it's worthless.
