Well,
i replaced my front shocks with illuminas and i am going to put in some eibach springs on the car soon. Well i have a few problems with my car one is:

When i turn like say a u-turn i hear a clank coming form the wheel area in front.

Also my steering wheel stays turned when i make a turn, it doesn't go back to center.

My steering wheel doesn't lock, like after you turn off the car.

I was thinking of putting in energy suspension bushing set to see if that will help what do you think?

A clicking noise from the outside when turning and accelerating is the CV joint. Steering wheel not returning to center means you have too much negative camber, get an allignment. Dunno about the wheel not locking. Mine only seems to do it when I yank it hard after I shut the car off.

Hope this helps, and don't quote me on anything. ;)

I tried to edit my post but for some reason it wouldn't load right. I meant to say a clunking noise when you accelerate and turn, and you have negative caster, not camber. :dsm:

Is the clank when you are turning the steering wheel (only) or when the car is making a tight turn (even after you have turned the steering wheel all the way to lock)?

The first reply (after the self-correction) is right that positive caster is what self-centers the front wheels after a turn. But let's make sure: does the car fail to self-center after both rights and lefts, or only one?

Also: do 1Gs have equal-length shafts? (I have a 2G.)

Did it do any of this before you changed your struts?

I like ES bushings, but I doubt that this will solve your problem, although I won't say that with much confidence because I don't (yet) know what your problem is.

it's a clank sound let's say when i make a left hand or right hand turn, while i'm turning it sounds once.

Ok, so i should:
Get an aligment
Check my CV joint
Check my lower control arms?(i think i saw a broken boot)

And whatelse? Thanks
