Good "semi cheap" exhaust manny?

try finding a good Used one that doesn't have cracks. But it really depends on what you mean by cheap

Forced Performance Race exhaust manifold is all your ever gonna need, about $275 last time I checked.

depends on what type of setup you plan on running in the future is how i look at it. Punishment racing and erl have nice e.mani. Fitment, etc. makes a difference in different brands also as their flange/function

so what you making a 2.1 i take it? also wrapping a dd is not a good idea in my thoughts.... heat without a way to escape leads to moisture leading to cracks i would think. Would recommend a mani heat shield. just makes more sense. can buy aftermarket ones pretty cheap.
And a good manifold for 600 is a really good deal. try 900+ for a good one and then tell me 600 is a bad deal...LOL... all depends on what you want for example. a hx-35 holset divided t-3 manifold is 900. Limits the types of turbos you use but you get many performance advantages. Were a mitsu flanged internally gated type mani will make you buy twice if you ever upgrade your turbo to something bigger. You could go with a bep housing but still
bep=250
mani=600
not to far below the correct better build mani to start with.... just an example for you.

i hear obx on ebay of all places has a pretty cheap 200-300 manifold for mitsu flange. You do get what you pay for most of the time. Would recomment a cast vs tubular when on a budget.

try punishment racing they have one for like under 500 too

FP's old ceramic coating was worthless, the manifold is kickass though. Gonna warn you though, it does make the car a "little" bit softer on the lowend. After a retune it is pure sex, topend increase is insane though. You must coat it witha real ceramic coating or an aftermarket heatshield, or you will be losing all the power advantage from increased underhood intake temps. I just jury rigged my stock manifold heatshield with some metal wire ties for testing. I'll be fabricating a trick heatshield myself later on. One of the better mods I've done in quite a while.
