Going to the dyno need advice

1st off I have a 1gen turbo
stock turbo k&n,exhaust ,man/bc ...what's the max psi that I can run!! I'm @3dgrees timing and will be running 109 gas..what will be a safe psi to run.

Just turn the boost up little by little until you get knock. If you dont have a logger, get one before you go.

Need a little more info. What are your mods? What size injectors? What turbo?

With out injectors or fuel management, I would say nothing more than 15-17lbs on 109. This is even pushing it in my opinion without a proper fuel system. Also, he is correct about knock.

He said stock turbo, so I am guessing the 14b on his 1g. Seems to me like he just bought the car and wants high hp with a boost controller and exhaust.

Ya stock turbo stock injectors!! don't want to blow it up but just to see how much HP it can make!! only mods are k&n man/bc exhaust.. Oya I have boost gauge...thanks,,,

Ok, sorry I missed you saying stock turbo in the first post. I still say do not take it too high with out a proper fuel system even with a higher octance. It is better to be safe than sorry.

That's what I'm running now 15psi on pump gas (91) ya I know cali gas sucks..
timing is @3dgrees But doesn't the ecu adjust it anyway with the knock sen?

I have a question when finding the psi to set to. Do I set all timing to zero and turn up until I see knock, right. Does that mean when I dyno that we can't advance timing?
