Gm Translator Question?

Holy crap i did so much searching that my head is spinning but found nothing, i bought a translator and maf today but it has a 1G plug and my car is a 2G what is the wiring order to hard wire it in? And how could i tell what version i have to determine how to set mine? Thanks

I believe the Maf-Ts v1 are 1g/2g specific. The Gen2 can be used on 1g or 2g as well as a few different mafs.
If you bought a v1, it may be useless to you.
Also the maft is notorious for a wandering tune. Unless you're making 500whp+, the 2g or evo8 mas will work just fine.

I bought a maft, sold it for an evo 8 maf and still have money for the intake pipe.

They should say on the box what version they are.
Mafts work like safcs in the fact that they "hide" airflow from the ecu, so are really only usable to 650cc injectors without a custom eprom.
