GM syncromesh to thin?

hey guys. just put in a rebuilt trans with brand new seals, filled it with gm syncromesh fluid and its already leaking out of what appears to be between the transfer case and the trans. this is the axle seal thats leaking right?

so my question is: is the GM syncromesh to thin causing the seal to leak? is there something else im not thinking of?

Syncromesh should be fine, check the seals on the T case. might be leaking out there if the trans was just rebuilt. Put the car on jack stands, wipe off all fluid, and lay under the car while a friend starts it. hang out and watch for fluid leaks. try putting it in gear if all the wheels are off the ground and see if that creates the leak. hope this helps a little.

IF it is leaking than the seal isn't installed right or is bad. If the seal is bad than any oil will leak from it regardless of the thickness.
