General GM MAF

Just an easy question for you guys....What gm maf do you guys use??? i am told somthin off and monte carlo or somthin?? if someone could help me, i work in a wrecking yard so i have access to many cars....let me know year make and model pls....i dont need the big vette 3.5 inch one just a 3inch will do....thanx

3" should be fine usally off a camero like a ls1 or a ws6 but don't forget to get the translator and the trans tells to how to set it up for 450 injectors wich is what you want it to read as doesn't matter if you have bigger then that though your afc or dsm link will take over from there

Mine was off of a Chevy Caprice 9C1 (law enforcement), I know it's off of the 91 - 96 version, but not if other years have the same throttle body. 95-96 Impala SS works too.
We had a thread on here last year with the full list of cars containing the 3" and 3.5" MAFs. (Don't bother with 3.5" it's way too big, especially with people flowing 3600+Hz with the 3" in some very BIG setups.)

Good luck. I looked for awhile and came up with nothing. There was a HUGE post on the MAF (970 replies), but it only had a few of the models that contain the air meter that I saw (then again I didn't look through all 39 pages, just about the first 20 and last couple). Somewhere there was a huge list.

found it, was number 587 on page 24... you were just about there....hehe... turns out i have one already...from a 99 malibu with a 3.1... thanx for the help finding the list...
