gm maf w/stock intercooler

can the 3" gm maf and translater be used with the stock 1g side mount intercooler. I ask this because i don't know if you can even use 3" piping on the stock intercooler. If so, how can you set it up?

Yes, you can use the GM Maft, any size, on a stock intercooler. In most cases, people using the gm maft setup arnt running 3 inch intercooler piping anyhow. There are special IC pipes made with the intent of fitting the maf, like the one from dejontool as I use. Alot of people use couplers/reducers and hack thier Ic pipes to make it fit as well. Either way it works.
